On Saturday, March 4th the South Florida Zen group is hosting Florida Sangha Day at Bo Hyun Sa Temple in Southwest Ranches, near Ft Lauderdale. The event will offer a wonderful opportunity for our Florida-wide Sangha to come together and celebrate our practice and the growth of our various Zen groups across Florida. We hope that you can join us!

The all-day celebration will include many fun and engaging activities (see full schedule). We also hope that the relaxed and friendly atmosphere will encourage you to bring along family and friends and introduce them to our practice and community. Here are some highlights:
Special Guests: Zen Master Wu Kwang (Richard Shrobe) and Ken Kessel JDPSN, the guiding teachers of our Florida Zen groups will be in attendance. They will not only lead some of our activities, but will also be providing kong-an interviews during our formal practice periods that morning.
Engaging Sessions: Include interesting topics such as a workshop on the Vimalakirti Sutra, a panel discussion on ‘Practicing in Uncertain Times’, a special ceremony in celebration of Sangha, and much more.
Food and Refreshments: Breakfast, a ‘Latin-themed’ lunch, and a fun pizza party dinner!
There is no cost to attend. Also, keep in mind that you are welcome to participate in all or just part of the day’s schedule. However, please register (click link below) and let us know that you are coming so we can plan accordingly.
