You are invited to a free Public Dharma Talk (with Q&A) with Zen Teacher Alma Potter, JDPSN on Friday, January 17th 2020 at 7:00 pm at Orlando Zen Center (515 South Crystal Lake Drive Orlando Fl, 32803). No registration or RSVP is required.
Also, Alma will lead a weekend YMJJ retreat at OZC beginning at 6am on January 18th through January 19th at 3pm. We will hold a public precept ceremony after the retreat from 3pm – 5pm.

Alma’s meditation practice started when she was seventeen years old. She traveled to India in the early 1980s, where she studied Zen and Buddhism. Living in Germany for 27 years, she was the abbess of the Berlin Zen Center for 11 years. In 2008, she received Inka – the official seal of approval to teach kong-ans – from Zen Master Wu Bong. As a Ji Do Poep Sa Nim (Dharma Master,) she has traveled worldwide teaching Zen. Upon moving to Austria, she became the guiding teacher for the Vienna Zen Center and also guides Zen Centers in Palma de Mallorca (Spain,) Budapest and Szeged(Hungary) and the Vrazne Zen Center (Czech Republic).
Alma Potter JDPSN was born in Arizona. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in clinical nutrition from Arizona State University.
